Terri Brooks is a paralegal at Baron & Budd, P.C., dedicating her efforts to the Environmental Litigation Group in our Chico, California office, where she specifically focuses on the devastation wreaked by the Camp Fire. As a native of Paradise, California, she brings to Baron & Budd an extensive knowledge of the community as a whole and an intimate understanding of the Camp Fire’s impacts on its survivors, many of whom are close acquaintances.

Terri has devoted 35 years to her professional career in Chico, California, with an emphasis on environmental and water rights law, transactional law, construction law, and estate planning/trust administration, working equally well with individuals, water districts, public entities, and corporations. She has managed complex litigation and helped bring to conclusion cases wending their way through the California Superior, District, Appellate, and Supreme Court dockets. Terri received her paralegal certificate in 2002 from the Honorable Thomas C. (“Mike”) Kelly, Judge of the Butte County Superior Court (“Retired”).

In her free time, Terri enjoys bass fishing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She also gives back to her community by frequently offering assistance to those who are, by unforeseen circumstances, in need of compassion, daily necessities and opportunities to earn money performing small jobs. In addition, Terri often makes charitable contributions to local homeless shelters, a cause near and dear to her heart.
