Responsible Party: Southern California Edison (SCE)

On November 8, 2018, the same day as the devastating Camp Fire in Northern California, a fire started by negligently maintained infrastructure that was owned and operated by Southern California Edison (“SCE”).  The Woolsey Fire burned for two weeks and became the worst wildfire in Los Angeles county’s modern history.  The fire caused the evacuation of nearly 300,000 people, scorched 96,949 acres of land and burned 1,643 structures.  Tragically, three people were killed.  Wildfire Recovery Attorneys represented hundreds of individuals and businesses that suffered losses in the devastating Woolsey Fire.

Couple's home destroyed by wildfire.

It is heartbreaking and maddening to see once again communities throughout California reduced to piles of ash and burning embers as a result of a catastrophic fire.
