Kelley Peters

Kelley Peters has been a legal secretary in the San Diego Offices of Baron & Budd since 2019. She assists our team of attorneys in the firm’s Environmental Litigation Group with all kinds of environmental mass tort litigation. Some of the cases Ms. Peters is actively involved with or has previously worked on include wildfire litigation against Pacific Gas & Electric in the Camp, Kincade, and Dixie fires; against Southern California Edison in the Thomas and Woolsey fires, against Liberty Utilities in the Mountain View fire cases, and against Pacific Power in the Holiday Farm fire, among other ongoing wildfire litigation.

In addition, Ms. Peters has devoted a lot of her time and attention to the California JUUL litigation. She truly enjoys interacting and working with agents for the public entities and school districts represented by Baron & Budd in these cases. Ms. Peters has found that her true strengths lie in civil litigation practice and she is honored to be part of an amazing team that focuses on supporting clients in environmental matters.

Ms. Peters began her legal career in in 2016 as a legal secretary at a well-respected law firm in South Dakota, where she was first introduced to the complexities of civil litigation — and found she loved it. Prior to working in a legal setting, Ms. Peters worked in the residential and corporate interior design industry.

She is always grateful for the abundant sunshine that San Diego offers and frequents its beaches often. She loves hiking and spending her free time with family, friends, and her beloved French bulldog.
