Cassie Hines

Cassie Hines is a legal secretary in the San Diego Offices of Baron & Budd, where she has focused her efforts on environmental litigation since joining the firm in 2021. Ms. Hines works in our Environmental Litigation Group, where the cases she is actively involved with include wildfire litigation against Pacific Gas & Electric in the Mosquito and Dixie fires; against Southern California Edison in the Bobcat, Saddleridge and Fairview fires, and against PacifiCorp in the Slater and McKinney fires.

Prior to working for Baron & Budd, Ms. Hines was an animal handler who trained dolphins for the Navy Marine Mammal Program. She subsequently trained land mammals and educated guests at Sea World San Diego. After making a career shift, Ms. Hines received her paralegal certificate with honors from the University of San Diego. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children in the great outdoors as often as possible!
